Rotating food storage is what really struck fear in my when it came to emergency preparedness!! Then about a year ago I read and article in the BYU magazine that said some new research shows that food storage will last a lot longer than previously thought, even powdered milk will last up to 30 years. That was some of the best news I had ever heard!! I can still follow the prophet and not drink powdered milk. The one thing the article stressed was that while you don't need to rotate as much you do need to store the food properly in a cool dry place. It said if the time ever came for you to need your food storage, you will wish that you stored your furniture in the garage and your food in the living room. Ha ha! You are a great example.
